Going Home to Stay or "First Wednesdays" is a monthly resource event which has been held at Government Center the First Wednesday of each month since 2009. During the two hour event (held 11am to 1pm) a wide array of community providers including social services, education, workforce development, Bureau of Motor Vehicles, Social Security Administration, and the Lucas County Child Support Agency provide a monthly "one stop shop" that allows men and women returning from incarceration and their families to get connected to needed services and supports. The Reentry Coalition sponsors this event with assistance from the Criminal Justice Coordinating Council and the Adult Parole Authority.
